Journalism this year has been amazing. But as the year comes to an end so does this experience. I want to say that I’m going to miss all of you. Even though most of our conversations resulted in me hounding you about late work (which you guys really have to improve on next year), I want you all to know that I truly am proud of how far you’ve come. Blaher! You are an amazing teacher and friend. I am so lucky to have had you the last three years. (I will be back to visit!) Jessica, oh Jessica. You saved my butt more than I can remember. THANK YOU! I’m so glad you decided to join our staff this year. Angela! “Golly gee willickers!” What will you do without me next year?! I know you’ll be an amazing EIC and I wish you luck! Don’t let the pressure get to you and if you ever need ANYTHING I’m all but a phone call away. Last, but definitely not least. Lorraine Archibald. There would be no EIC2 if it weren’t for the both of us. I know for a fact that I wouldn’t have been able to do any of this without you. Even though we never agreed on anything I’m glad you were the one I got to do this with. Thank you so much for all of your help and I’ll see you at W&M (maybe?).

I love all of  you and once again, thank you for making this year one of the best for me.
Co-Editor in Chief

Madina Beg

This year has been a blast. It was filled with a lot of obstacles and deadlines but we always made it through and had fun doing so. I want to thank this years’ J1’s. Without you guys, we wouldn’t have such a great paper. You’ve all come so far. You’ve made me proud and I’m thrilled each of you are coming back next year. To my editorial board, we all brought a different point of view and even though sometimes it led to conflicts, we each fought for the good of the paper and I love you all for that. To Madina beg, we have accomplished so much this year and I’m so glad you were my partner. I’ll never forget the hilarious times we’ve had and all the challenges we crushed in order to build this paper and the staff to the point it’s at now, the best it’s ever been. I wouldn’t want anyone else besides you to complete EIC². To Angela, you have a lot of work ahead of you but I know you will be a great Editor in Chief. A thanks to Mrs. Blaher who has been a great friend and advisor. Thanks to every bulldog who reads The Watchdog. So much goes into this for each of you. I’m so thankful I have been able to be Co-Editor in Chief this year. The Watchdog is at a great place right now, and as long as those who produce it always strive to be better, honest journalists, it will only get even better.
