Amir Diggs - Punk Rock Day -

Greensboro, North Carolina-------- For the past few years, Dudley has been wearing SMOD and Spirit Week hasn't been very exciting. Since the SMOD policy has relaxed, students should have more attire options for Spirit Week.

This year, students were allowed to incorporate their Spirit Week costumes with SMOD. The best days were Wacky Tacky Day and Trading Places (which wasn't a real day).

Senior, Jaffa Simmons stated that Jasmine Miller should be the winner for both days.  Other students exclaimed how Amir Diggs really out did himself on Punk Rock day with his spiked Mohawk wig and Mr. Sweeper had the best Panther makeup yet.

"This is what you call Spirit Week. Any other year, you would think that it was a-regular school week," said Simmons.

Simmons also said that he was glad that he actually got to see how a real Spirit Week looked like and enjoyed all of the wacky students.

This school year should go well. We had a great start by easing up on SMOD, an interesting Spirit Week, an exciting pep rally and a victorious homecoming game against Southern.
