Rumors of this film said that it would be “stupid” and “not worth seeing” but after watching Ring 2, it surely is a thrilling horror movie.
The story of the Ring is all that we know- a killing video tape. Of course, the Ring will be legendary and we’ll never forget the voice, the images, and all the little ingredients that made this film a horrifying but exiting experience.
The story now to Ring 2 is that Samara wants to become Ayden. She wants to be him to get a mother. Slowly, she works her way into Ayden. You’ll have to watch on your own to see what will happen. The rating to this is PG-13, so please, don’t let your little children see this. It really was a scary movie and if children who aren’t good with scary films see it, I’m sure they won’t be able to get to sleep in the night.
Naomi Watts is Rachel Keller, one of the main characters. Like in the last film, she’s trying to save her son, Ayden, who is played by David Dorfman. This film is now if theatres so if I were you, I would go with a good pal or girlfriend/boyfriend to cling on to when you get a little too freaked out. The acting was really well done. Everyone did their part well and it made the movie interesting. I really take my hat off to David Dorfman. For a child his age, it’s amazing how well he can act in such a scary film! I know if I were him, I would have a hard time. Naomi Watts, of course is gorgeous and the guys that I went surely did appreciate the movie- they’re big Naomi Watts fans. The movie is easy to follow- even if you haven’t seen the prequel. The music makes you also wonder if something big is going to happen or if they’re just messing with you. The suspense of this movie makes you jump out of the seat. It’s an awesome film.
I would give the acting a 10. They did great. Overall, the film would have to be a 10 also. I loved how they made the film thrilling and it just captures you in. There is no way you could sleep through that show. It was worth the $7.50 I spent for the ticket. I would really suggest bringing someone though. Without, you might just have to run out of the theatre screaming. It really will scare you pants off.
