"Dirty Dancing" star dies

Well known actor Patrick Swayze died Sept. 14, 2009. He had been battling pancreatic cancer since 2008. He played in a variety of roles such as “Dirty Dancing,” “Ghost,” “Red House,” “Red Dawn,” and “The Outsiders.” He had been starring this past year in the television show “The Beast,” until he became seriously ill. He died with his family by his side.

He was an amazing actor, and anyone that has seen a movie he has been in can note his talent and dedication. A good way to go, with someone near. He will be sorely missed by fans, family, and possibly anyone who knew of him.
