Thanks to Stu-Co's pet rescue drive, these pooches and others will be sleeping easy.
This year Student Council split itself into three committees: Pride and Patriotism, Energy and Environment, and DASH—Drug, Alcohol, Safety, and Health.  These three groups each have a different purpose in trying to make the school and the community a better place.  So far, you have heard about Recycling and the pet rescue drive, which are both part of the Energy and Environment committee.  Both of those events did, and for recycling, are still going, great! The pet rescue drive raised about $350 and helped many animals in need.  Also, we’ve have worked hard to plan an exciting Homecoming week.  And thanks to the Pride and Patriotism committee not only did you get to go to the Homecoming dance by buying a ticket, but you also got an awesome bracelet!  Stu-Co is also planning a new Halloween tradition that involves Shelton’s younger kids.   We also hope to see you come out and support our Charger boys at our home games at the Greenville stadium.  Be part of the “BLUE OUT!” Cover yourself in blue so when our football team looks out they see all of our support.  Can’t wait to see you all there!
