On Feb. 21, the Falcons hosted a power lifting meet. Thirty-five tough teams attended.
West Franklin’s lifters did very well considering the harsh competition. The Falcon junior division got second overall.
The WFHS home meet was the fourth meet for the season. Many of the lifters have improved already. The ones who have lifted year-round are certainly stronger than ever.
The Falcons have four seniors, Levi Lang, Cody Miller, Chris Mills and Cameron Roberts; junior Kyle Nitcher; and sophomore Tyler Rima. As a team they have done very well and have worked hard to get to where they are.
Come out and support our lifters who will be competing at state on March 28, 2009 in Marion.
