Get ready for the spirit! Starting Monday, Oct. 5th, West Franklin
High School will be celebrating its homecoming.
The school will be having a spirit week contest. The student that is best fitting in the category of the day will be recognized at the pep rally on Friday before the game.
Monday is Clash Day, which means students will miss match their clothes and compete to look the least fashionable. Tuesday is Twin Day.
Wednesday will be Opposite Sex Day. Many girls will be dressed as guys, as well as guys dressing as girls.
Thursday’s competition is Decade Day. The freshmen will be the 1950s, sophomores will be
the '60s, juniors have the '70s, and the seniors are taking the '80s.
Of course, Friday is Falcon Spirit day. So if you’re a student be sure to bring your spirit
On Wednesday the homecoming parade will be held. Floats will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the city park. The parade starts at 6 p.m. and will end at the high school parking lot. There will be a community cookout afterward.
Friday night sees the Falcon football team take on Northern Heights Wildcats. The game is free to the community.
After the game students can get their groove on dancing in the multipurpose room into the night. Refreshments will be provided by the sophomore class.
Students are urged to attend all of the events and show their support for the team and the school.
