A troubled Smith plays an IRS agent with a big secret, who decides to free himself of his guilt by attempting to change the lives of seven complete strangers. With a movie trailer hard to make heads or tails of, the exact plot of the film is uncertain, but stars like Smith and Muccino should bring big numbers at the box office.
The Day the Earth Stood Still

This remake of the 1951 sci-fi hit has blockbuster written all over it. The Day the Earth Stood Still follows the journey of an alien named Klaatu (Keanu Reeves) sent to Earth along with a robot to warn the planet’s occupants of impending doom, unless they change their self-destructive ways. Hopefully, this alien invasion remake will not disappoint considering the stellar special effects and an accompanying cast of Jennifer Connelly and Jaden Smith.
Revolutionary Road

At last, the reunion of Titanic stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet hits the big screen Dec. 26. Revolutionary Road, directed by American Beauty’s Sam Mendes, depicts a young but unhappy, married couple who decides to get out of suburbia and start a new life in France. Keep an eye out for this period drama at the Oscars.
Curious Case of Benjamin Button

From the incredible story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button tells a tale about a man (Brad Pitt) who was born in his 80s and continues to age backward all while trying to live a normal life. Co-starring Cate Blanchett and Tilda Swinton, this one-of-a-kind fantasy film is sure to be a hit at the box office this holiday season.
