LUDA BABIY

Junior Luda Babiy of Roseville High School is scheduled to graduate a year early in order to go to college faster and get a jump on her career.

“I just want to go into college and get my career done,” said Babiy.

Babiy made her decision with her counselor and parents back in her sophomore year. She decided to go to a community college for two years and transfer to a four-year college after.

Babiy feels that school had a positive impact on her.

“[It was the] best experience,” said Babiy.

Babiy has enjoyed all of her years in high school and doesn’t know which one she loved the most.

“It was fun, but I’m so tired of it,” said Babiy.

According to Babiy, her worst school experience was having to study for tests, but she knows that in college she’ll have to put in that extra time as it will be the only way to pass her classes.

“[It’s] hard for me to study,” said Babiy. “[But] I gotta do what I gotta do.”

Babiy will miss hanging out with all of her friends at school, but will still see them around.

“I’m excited, and I’ll miss [school], but I’m happy to move on,” said Babiy.

CAROLYN GAODE

As well as Babiy, junior Carolyn Gaode is also graduating a year early.

Gaode got the idea from her sister who graduated early a couple years ago from Roseville High School.

“I [want to] get a head start with my future,” said Gaode.

Gaode is planning on achieving an accounting business major and moving to Tennessee after high school.

“There’s gonna be a couple things I’ll miss, like friends, but [it’s] a pretty good decision,” said Gaode.

Gaode wants to go to Lee University in Tennessee and plans on living by herself in a dorm.

“[High school was] exciting,” said Gaode. “[I loved] meeting new people, [but there wasn’t anything] too crazy, [just] relaxed.”

Gaode has a good GPA and took some AP classes, so she’s ready to continue on with her life.
