This was a memorable year for the Varsity Softball team.  We made numerous strides from previous years.

First and foremost, the Jaguars Softball Team made it to the third round of the NJVTAC tournament.  During the first round we knocked out Camden County Vo-Tech and the second round was a shut out against East Brunswick Tech with a score of 12-0.  Ashley Rowand homered and Lorianne Hann had her first shut out. These are just some of the highlights. We were defeated in the third round and were one game short of making it to the finals.

The second most memorable event was the win against Willingboro (1-0) which shut them out of the play-offs.  Lorianne Hann struck out 12 in a one hitter and Amy Lucas doubled scoring AJ Emerson for the only run.

Overall this year was very successful for the Varsity Softball team.  We won five games and everyone contributed in one way or another.  We are sad to lose seniors Ashley Rowand and Nikki Mazzola, but next year we will be ready to play.  I anticipate everyone else returning and look forward to another successful season.  I see the next year as another winning year and hope to bring home the NJVTAC title.
