    The Halo games are well known to the gamer community.

    Halo: Combat Evolved was the first Halo game and it was originally released for the PC. It became a very popular first-person shooter game on the PC that it was recreated for the Xbox.

    The Halo games gained much respect throughout the gamer community. Now 10 years and five Halo games later, Halo: Combat Evolved is now recreated for the Xbox 360. With it being the 10th anniversary of the original Halo game release, the recreated Halo game for the Xbox 360 is called, “Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.”
    
    
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary has a few different game modes. The main game mode is story mode, which is referred to as Campaign. Campaign supports co-op (cooperative) over Xbox live. Matchmaking is supported by Xbox live as well. The Firefight game mode is also included so you can fight some waves of Covenant (Flood not included) alongside some marines and ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Troopers). Forge is available for building custom made maps that can then be played on Custom Games with friends. Then there is Theater for getting those films, clips, and or screenshots of the recent games played.

    According to the Halo Wikipedia, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will have seven maps. Some of the maps, which are re-mastered from the original game, are Beaver Creek; now called, “Battle Canyon,” Hang 'Em High; now called, “High Noon,” Damnation; now called, “Penance,” Timberland; now called, “Ridgeline,” Prisoner; now called, “Solitary,” and Headlong; now called, “Breakneck.”
