With around 40 members, and a new adviser, Student Council (STUCO) is off to a good start this year. STUCO had two major projects this month: Homecoming and the blood drive. They are also planning to have a Christmas assembly, a spring fling and Morp dance.

Angie Havenstein, librarian and English literature teacher, is the new adviser for STUCO. She admittedly was overwhelmed when she took over a week before Homecoming, but is excited to work with such great students. "All of the student council members have done a great job making sure that everything gets done,” Havenstein said.

This year’s STUCO goals are to make this a memorable year for the seniors and help build school spirit in the younger classes. Students who want to be involved

in STUCO can talk to a current member or Havenstein.
