“HOSA: It’s In Our Hearts to Keep yours Beating!” Students from all over the country attend the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) to enhance health care to all people.

Partnership for HOSA is those who support other educational programs to get more people involved. Being a part of HOSA is to become a healthcare provider. Getting involved will make people very successful and more a part of a better society.

There is also a competitive side to HOSA. There are Public Service Announcements, Extemporaneous Writing, Community Awareness, Clinical Specialty, Health Education, MRC and Research Persuasive Speaking to go into.

MRC (Medical Reserve Corps) is an Emergency Preparedness Event where the members of HOSA are trying to get officially registered. The team will be receiving money from the National Association of County and City Health Officials. What they are doing with the money is that they are going to build their own organizational capacity.

Get Ready America is a public service announcement that is about how to get ready in case of an emergency, like a tornado or hurricane. To get supplies ready, any animals you have and to find a good shelter. Extemporaneous Writing is a writing competition about HOSA. First place winner, Teisha Zablan, wrote about what HOSA does and how it works. HOSA is a great way for students and anyone else of age to join to become a health care provider.

Anyone that wants to be a part of the health group, join HOSA.
