Mr. Malanga and Mr. Ensdorf run Student Government, this is an extracurricular activity that students participate in to enhance their leadership skills. Students do projects and activities to raise money for different events in the future. The majority of the students in this class are freshmen. And they are learning a whole lot about being a true leader.

The most important thing they have planned for the future is a video game tournament. They are now writing letters to different organizations that sell electronic equipment. So, that they can get materials for the video game tournament. The video game tournament is going to take place on a half day. Where kids play games like Madden and Halo 2 to compete for a prize.

These students taking this class have the benefit of becoming true leaders in this country. By being exposed to important leadership skills that other people don’t get the chance to learn in the ninth grade. Most people don’t learn this kind of stuff until they attend college.
