It is almost the end of the year. I know what you are thinking,” finally”. Although it is most the end of the year it does not mean you get to just slack off. Well it actually means you need to try harder, eighth graders. Remember it counts just as much as any other quarter or school year.
The grades you get in junior high determine your classes for ninth grade. Do not stress too much about it though, there are many fun things to look forward to before leaving Sierra Vista. It is kind of our benefits for doing well.
The first thing is the eighth grade barbeque. It is so much fun it is basically just where we play games, eat food and just hang out with your friends. It is really fun and is enjoyed by most kids. There is one condition if you get a strike you can not attend the eighth grade barbeque. So stay out of trouble!
Then there is the place were the eighth graders look forward to the most, Disneyland. You get to be there with all your friends, take pictures with the characters, ride roller coasters, and play games .It is truly an experience especially when you get to be there with all your friends. You still have to be on good behavior there to because they can kick you out and if you get kicked out you won’t promote. This leads me into the last thing.
Finally, the most important thing and the thing your parents look forward to the most, promotion. You get to get all dressed up nice and your whole family comes to watch you walk across the stage and hear your name be called. It gives your parents a lot of joy and you too because that’s when you know your officially a teenager. So be on your best behavior so you can have a wonderful end of the year!
Happy end of the year!
