Hope, what is it? Where does it come from? Do you think that there really is a true definition for hope? Some ideas of hope are: hoping for the recession to end, hoping for the troops to come back, and hoping that all friends will stay friends and go to the same school. In reality, hope can mean all kinds of things.
Hope is a feeling you get when you want something to happen or come true. When asked, “What is hope to you” students responded with these answers: the person they like likes them back, the will to believe there is a change of something good to happen, and people in need of a miracle. Hope is an unstoppable emotion that keeps you determined to never give up no matter what. If people criticize you, do not let that get your hopes down because it does not matter what people say or think. You can go ahead and hope for whatever you like because nothing is impossible.
Hope is not just something that you can acquire, you can give it too. You can give a needy person hope by participating in a helpful program such as Help the Children and the Michael Hoefflin Foundation. Another way to bring hope to needy people is by making donations or just simply writing them a letter letting them know that you care. For a friend, you can tell them, “never give up” or encourage them to try their hardest on a test or competition that they have.
If you believe in yourself, anything you hope for can happen; you just have to keep on trying until you get there. If it does not go your way the first time do not give up, just try a little harder. Keep on striving for your dream or hope because the outcome of the situation will be worth the work you put into it. “So never give up hope”; this inspirational quote can affect you much more than you think. Do not underestimate the power to achieve your goals because with a little hard work and an unfailing faith, your motives and dreams can take you just about anywhere. All you need is hope.
