          Mrs. Brownlee has been teaching at Sierra Vista Junior High School for five years. She teaches an English class for 7^th grade and a journalism class for an 8^th grade elective. She teaches English because she enjoys writing and reading because she feels it is important. She teaches journalism because it has a creative outlet.

When Mrs. Brownlee was little she wanted to be a lawyer, not a teacher. She wanted to be a teacher because she wanted to make a positive difference in her community. Her eleventh grade English teacher inspired her to teach. Mrs. Brownlee went to the college of UCLA for four and a half years along with the two years for her master’s degree.

Mrs. Brownlee has been married to her husband for eight and ½ years. Her husband has been in Kuwait since November. In her free time she likes to read, shop, spend time with friends and family, and watch Twilight. She has seen Twilight over 10 times and her favorite character is Edward. Edward is her favorite because he has many facets to his personality. Mrs. Brownlee loves to eat In-N-Out.

So as you can see Mrs. Brownlee is more than meets the eye.
