Fashions Hot or Not?
In the morning you rush to get dressed and go down stairs to catch the bus. Your mom stops you right at door and says, “Go change your clothes, now!” You ask why you have to change. She says that you just look average. You get angry at your mom because she still thinks clothes aren’t everything, and trying to fit in like everyone else is idiotic. Be different. Just be yourself. She tells you. Your temper bursts as you yell “I just want to fit in!” Then you tell her your dark story about what happened yesterday. You tell her you get bullied physically because you look like a nerd, and also tell her you get teased for having lame clothes. You run out the door, tears in your eyes.
There are many different types of fashions; some are Punk, Urban, Mod, Bohemian Sheik, Regular Sheik, Medal, Skater, Prep, Goth, and Casual. A great place to go for these fashions is to the mall, which is a basic place to hang with friends and to get the latest fashions. Some individual stores are Vans, Aeropostale, Hot Topic, Converse, Zumies, American Eagle, Hollister, Anchor Blue, Sidecca and a Levis store.
There are many styles that are easy to follow, such as casual, casual is practically is just putting on some jeans and a shirt that feels comfortable and a pair of shoes. Punk is another style this style contains torn clothing, neon died hair, Mohawks, tattoos and removable tattoos for teens, spiked dog collars and spiked wrist bracers.
Then there is the darker side of clothing which is Goth. This fashion trend came from a cult of mourning called the Victorian. In this fashion you practically were all black. If you do prefer Goth you would wear black cloths metal jewelry heavy black eyeliner and some die their hair black. Many people think this style is a little bit creepy but if you like it, wear it. One of the most popular styles is the skater look; this look is very easy to follow. If you like this style you would wear skinny jeans or baggy skinny jeans. You would wear a loose fitting shirt and Vans, DC’s, foundations and other brands. The shirts probably would have the logo of a famous skater brand. Skater fashion for girls is more of the same thing but with a feminine touch. Girls wear skinny jeans, a tight shirt, and some plaid, Vans and Converse and some nice belts. There are many more styles and all are easy to follow.
Now, to the adult side, both Mr. Flores and Mr. Crawford said that they like to dress professional at school. Mr. Flores said it makes him feel more secure and he thinks appropriate for an administrator for our school in the morning after he gets ready. While Mr. Crawford said when you dress professional you act professional. Mr. Crawford also said that when he dresses casual on the weekend he acts more relaxed. Both Mr. Crawford and Mr. Flores have said that the shoes they like and wear are Kenneth and Cole, John stone and Murphy, and Cole Hann. “How you dress, is how you act,” stated by, Mr. Crawford. Mrs. Lennarz, on the other hand, does not like to follow trends, because trends end up changing very often, but she wears things that are comfortable like Steve Madden, Jessica Simpson, Short Boots, and Converse. “You need to be comfortable in what you wear,’ stated by, Mrs. Lennarz.
All styles are easy to follow no matter if one is a teen or an adult, just make it your own. Although fashions matter to some other can careless. In fashion it is about wearing what makes you feel comfortable.
