You get home, you've had a long day at school and you want to relax. But you cant, you have homework. It's like that for a lot for kids and teenagers. Always doing homework and NO free time. I think somthing should be done about this. I believe homework should be abolished. For as long as you can remember you've always had to do homework. But that was back when your homework was to write the alphabet! Now it's "find the quadratic formula" and "factor this" and "factor that" and its only going to get worse! I think that teenagers in middle school should be more foucused on what they are going to do when they go out into the world and perfecting the skills needed for that career they wish to pursue. And or find out what they want to do in life if they are unsure of what they want to do, instead of wasting most of their lives doing homework.I asked some students if they think homework should be abolished and why; here are some of the answers:"Yes because when a student gets home from school they don't want to do homework, they want to relax.""Yes because we do lots of work during school. We deserve to have our free time to relax from the day.""Yes because it makes my head hurt and it sucks!"You know what I think. Now I want to know, what do you think? I believe homework should be abolished, do you? And if not, give me a good reason.
