Anthony Walker:
The third week in October is Safe Schools week. My school is safe for many reasons. George Hall is safe because Mrs. Jackson makes sure to check your card before she lets you get an early dismissal. If you are not at school, teachers will call your house to check on you. At 3:30 each day the teachers walk our students to Michigan Avenue. When we leave for field trips our teachers check their lists three or more times! Another thing that our teachers so is make all kinds of rules. These rules make sure that we do not get into any trouble. Our principal locks the front door when she leaves to make sure that no one comes into our school. George Hall is a very safe school!

George Hall is a very safe school. One way that we keep our school safe is by keeping strangers our of our buildings. All of our doors are locked except for the front doors. Mrs. Jackson needs to see the face of everyone who comes to our schools. If we leave our school to go on a field trip, our teachers will check to see that we are all together. Another way that teachers keep us safe is by calling our homes to see if we are ok if we are not at school. If you do not show up, they will go crazt trying to find you. Our teachers try so hard to keep us safe.
