Rocklin High School had their Winter Jig Dance last Monday night, and despite popular belief in the low ticket sales, there were 385 tickets presold.

Many students opted not to go because of the timing and options of other activities.

Nathalie Dumm, a senior at Rocklin High School, said, “I went out to dinner with my friend instead of going to the dance. It was just weird because I didn’t feel like dressing up in winter outfits when it’s the beginning of November. The thing is I don’t really go to many dances. I heard it was fun though.”

Many people felt the same way, but still went.

Rocklin High School senior Kim Schneider said, “Winter Jig kind of snuck up on me. My friends and I had fun though. We didn’t really do the whole winter outfit thing, we just wore sports jerseys. We had a lot of fun.”

Despite the temperature outside and the night of the dance, the addicts will still find a way to get their jig on.
