Wow the day is finally here June 4th, graduation day, friends, family here to see their senior sons and daughters graduate from Miami Carol City Senior High. All the hard work has paid off from staying up late doing projects, homework etc. Personally, I feell like it was just yesterday when I first stepped foot in Carol City in 9th grade not knowing what to expect. Graduation is a wonderful day but the question is,, what your plans are after graduation? I ask a number of seniors what their plans are after graduation. Harvey Harrell stated that he is going to college, he is attending Florida State University to major in criminology also intend with I.C.E. which stands for Immigration Customs Environment and also do work study program on campus. Olivia Jones said she is attending Barry University for medicine. Waymon Hunter is going to college to major in paramedics and he also plans to get a job on the side. Chekhov Oliver is going to major in criminology, psychology and also get a job. Ornella Stewart is going to University of Florida, start a charity for girls with low self-esteem and also be a family attorney. Melissa Valle said she is going straight to college to be obstetrician/neonatologist and start a charity for poor people. Synquintriona Pollock is going to Barry University studying pre law and keeps her job working at Hollister. Daniel Edward is undecided on what college she wants to attend, but she already has a job she plans on keeping. Freddy Burse is going to college for his AA in paramedics also minor in medical science and do active duty in the Army. Rodney Lenon is going to enlist in the Navy. Madelin Cruz is going to college to major in criminal justice and become a police officer. Last but not least Brandon Thomas is going to UF on June 29th+ as a freshman on campus, get a job and do work study. These are some senior plans after graduation. I wish them the best and hope them all the success in what they are pursuing. I AM SO HAPPY WE DID CLASS OF 2009!!!
