Is Donald Trump a good candidate for the presidency?
Advertising

(May 24, 2011) -- Donald Trump, if elected, would be the best president since George W. Bush. Trump is known to most as the egotistical businessman, author and television personality of The Apprentice. More recently, Trump has added another title to his name--a possible candidate for the president of the United States, a buzzworthy title that has had people stumbling upon it for years.

Though not a regular politician, Trump’s Republican fan base is growing as the 2012 election approaches, and it is easy to identify why. Donald Trump is as red, white and blue as the flag on my front porch. He is charming, his blond shabby non-balding hair sweeps over his face like Christopher Robin, his tan makes the cast of Jersey Shore jealous, and his wife looks better than yours. What better image to represent America than this?

Aside from the good looks, Donald Trump has what the United States needs to fix our unfortunate situation: real-world experience. Money is power, and if there is anyone who knows the value of the dollar, it is Donald Trump. He graduated from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the top undergraduate business university in the country, with a B.S. in Economics. Since, according to Trump, China will surpass us as the top economic power by 2016, do the majority of Americans really want a president with a political background of false promises and catchy speeches? What Americans really want is a high-class thief. Who better to steal oil from Iraq than a man who expects profits from his investments? If not him, then o-bummer.

What most Americans fail to recognize is the importance of experience when dealing with other people, especially the Chinese. Different cultures have different customs and attitudes when it comes to dealing with certain situations. These attitudes can carry on to influence economic and political decisions. Trump is no stranger to dealing with foreign people, and therefore can offer a much more unique and realistic approach to foreign and economic policy. On his television show The Apprentice, he has even had Asians on the show! Since Trump has a business background in addition to his education, he possesses the qualities of a leader and the knowledge to turn this economy around.

Along with his experience in dealing with economics, Trump is the face of an American success story. He is supposedly worth billions of dollars. In America, it is only patriotic to vote for the man with the most money. Money does equal power, after all. Benjamins like Trump, and Trump likes Benjamins. Their relationship is powerful.

But surely, we can conclude that he is running for neither the money nor the fame, but for the love of his country. His biggest strength is his patriotism. His longing for what America once was and his willingness to try to turn it around is convincing — heck, his audacity to even state that America is not what it used to be is convincing. No other recent presidential hopefuls have even had the guts to sincerely and confidently talk about the issues Trump has, including the understated conflicts with China, OPEC and the Middle East. He has already started planning on how to deal with these issues, including his most popular proposal: raising the tariff on products imported from China. He is not soft-spoken, he is dangerous.

Trump’s biggest strength, his big mouth, is also his biggest weakness. He is well-known to talk out of his donkey behind because of his doubts regarding Obama’s birth certificate. His big mouth can be very useful in running the office and become very threatening when it comes to debates. The tricky part is figuring out whether Trump actually thinks before he speaks. There is surely one phrase Donald Trump will not have to think about — when he tells Barack Obama “You’re fired!”

Editor's Note: Since this article was written, Trump has said he will not run for president in 2012.

OBAMA for 2012. NO ONE ESLE. I made some analysis based on history if there is a way for Obama to lose and my answer is NO. One major part of the analysis is (in history), Hoover, Nixon, Carter, Bush 41; these are one term presidents who were beaten by powerful candidates at the time FDR, Ford, Reagan, Clinton. So, right now, Obama may be a weak candidate, but for the Republican side the right wing needs a very powerful candidate to win the election 2012, as of now there are none. If there are any questions, please ask!

Interesting.. but... WAKE UP AMERICA, I think your little bit misguided in your understanding of what is good for the global economy.. Exponential equation and Perpetual Debt Cycle = Where did all the money go??? Aarghh!!.. No offense meant here but simple mathematics rules and Donald Trump is an old school capitalist and that will be his downfall.. This comes from the minds of people with a considerably greater education than Sir (Hail the Dollar) Donald.. Thank you for listening :)

Why publish this article if the story is moot?

Why Obama and His Birth Documents are Not Authentic! Scanned documents aren't valid evidence of anything even if they are legitimate. The entire reason there is a professional field known as forensic document examination is that a great deal can be told from examination of the original document itself. Much, much less can be told by looking at a photocopy of a document and very little, if anything at all, can be told from looking at a digital image that purports to be an image of an original document. Too much opportunity for adulteration, no opportunity to examine the paper, the ink, and any impressions made on the paper, etc. These online arguments discussing images are like people studying animals by examining imitation scat. The documents Obama would like the public to accept would not meet the standards of "evidence" in any court of law, any administrative hearing, any congressional investigation, application for any license, passport. or official ID papers We the People will never know if Obama is a fraud unless the original documents are submitted to a panel of court approved certified document examiners.
