One of the many activities St. Joseph High School offers is the F.U.N. Club (Females Unite Now). This is held once a month, during lunch periods, in room 401.

Students who participate in this activity find it very beneficial. Girls bring their lunches from the cafeteria and chat amongst each other concerning their social lives. Ms. Amber Campion, head of the club, helps each student to deal with her daily struggles at home, school, or worldwide. As a result, these girls will eventually learn to confront their conflicts in an intelligent, calm manner. They gain self-esteem and try to overcome any fear by maintaining a positive mindset.

Another advantage of participating in this club is the formation of new friendships. Many girls bond together and discover that they share a variety of similarities, whether they all experience the fear of rejection, disappointment, stage fright, or communicating with others.

This club is an extracurricular activity that can be included in your college applications. If you are not participating in this club, don’t miss the opportunity to join next year. The F.U.N. Club provides a safe, stress-free environment for all young women.

Krystal Huertas, a freshman and a F.U.N. Club member, said, “The F.U.N Club is an interesting club to be in. It allows students to get to know each other while having fun. I think if more people join, the more fun it would be!”
