Poetry Corner: I'm Not Who You Think I Am

I’m not who you think I am.
I’m not God,
I don’t have all the answers.
Don’t ask questions,
The facts won’t come faster.
I have flaws but so do you.
I’m not you, this is true.
I’m not you, I’m not God,
I don’t have answers, I have flaws.
I’m not who you think I am…..
Who am I?
Good question. To be sincere,
I really don’t know.
I never knew who I was, doesn’t it show?
I’m not who you think I am because who you think I am, is not me.
I’m not who you think I am because who I am, is unknown to me.

I tihnk that this is an excellent poem astrid. I think helps open the minds of teenagers to see that what you see is not always what you get . It is realistic and makes sense, bien .

i enjoyed reading this poem since it made me confused for a while. then i realized that sometimes we fool ourselves into being like someone we're not. this is a really interesting poem!!

I enjoyed reading this poem becuase it sent out to me a very vivid picture of what it is saying and a very loving message to my heart. I understand it and i dont understand it, meaning i think this is a poem that shouldnt be understood. I dont even thing its meant to be understood. I love how it makes you confused, understood and thinking all at once. This is a very nice poem.
