With summer rapidly approaching, the entertainment business plans to release several new books, concert tours, and especially, movies.

Many students are excited for the new films being released soon, including The Dark Knight Returns (7/20), The Avengers (5/4) and Men In Black III (5/25).

With the major success of the first two movies, Will Smith and others make a big comeback in releasing yet another film, Men In Black III. Online critics may not be expecting much, because for many movies,  one sequel is enough, but fans beg to differ.

"I'm so excited to see Men In Black III," said freshman Mikayla Northrop. "I really liked the first two movies, so hearing that a third one was coming out is exciting."

When the announcement of the third installment to The Dark Knight (2008) trilogy hit the public early 2011, fans of Batman all over the web begin commenting on several sites such as IMDB.com, MTV.com, Facebook and critic blogs about their excitement and expectations. 

“The Dark Knight has always been one of my favorite movies, and when I heard about The Dark Knight Rises coming out soon, I have been so excited to see it!” said freshman Ashley Litz.

Litz is also excited to the rerelease of The Titanic: in 3D (4/4), saying it’s been one of her favorite movies of all time, and with it being in theaters, she is even more excited to see the movie.

Marvel Comics has been popular ever since the company began in 1939. Many movies interpretations of the comics have been filmed. Superheroes will come together in The Avengers (5/4) with popular heroes such as Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Blackwidow. 

Freshman Zach Mauck has been anticipating this movie for quite a bit. “I want to see The Avengers because the trailer gives it mystery and it looks like it has a lot of action. I expect it to be really cool, but short, too,” he said.
