The New Students of MHS

Karina Lumpkin is one of the new students to the good High School of Moody. She went to Moody in in her kindergarten year. In the later years of her life she has attended Calera school. She went to Calera High School and instead of having the block schedule they have the period schedule. Lumpkin said “ The block schedule is going to be hard to get used to. Since the block schedule has longer classes, it will be harder for her to concentrate on one class, she said. Lumpkin also said, “The classes in Calera are more advanced than the classes in Moody.”

When she came back to Moody from her kindergarten year, Lumpkin knew of a couple of people at Moody. Lumpkin has some younger brothers and sisters but they are going to go to Pell City when they get to be school-age.

Jody Willams is another new student to the good High School of Moody. He went to Pinson Valley before he came to Moody. So far he said that he likes Moody, and that Moody is harder than Pinson Valley. Coming to Moody, he did not know anybody. He has always lived in Pinson. Williams holds a couple of jobs: he does carpentry and pluming. “Both can have their fun days, but yet it's still a job,” Williams said.
