New Moon is in Theaters November 20
The sequel to “Twilight”, “New Moon”, will be out in theaters Nov.20, 2009. Tickets will cost $9.50. The run time for this movie is about two hours long. The plot is based on the popular book written by Stephenie Meyer.
Most people have high hopes for this film, but others don't expect much out of it. The assumptions about “New Moon” are based on the movie “Twilight”. Some loved it, but other people thought it was more popular than it should be. Emily Ash, a senior, says that she liked the movie “Twilight”.
“I like the storyline and how it's romantic,” she said. Ash did say that it drags on in parts and can get boring. She says students should go see it because it's entertaining, and she expects “New Moon” will have the same outcome.
The actors starring in this movie are Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. They play the characters Edward Cullen, Bella Swan, and Jacob Black. The plot of this movie begins with Bella's 18th birthday party. Edward Cullen's adopted brother, Jasper, attempts to kill Bella after she gets a paper cut. Soon after, Edward decides Bella is not safe and ends their relationship. Bella becomes very heart-broken that she and Edward are over, and can't help but feel very depressed. But she soon finds a way to make herself feel better. Jacob Black quickly becomes a really good friend to her, and keeps her mood up. Bella later discovers that Jacob is actually a werewolf. He and his fellow werewolves try to keep Bella safe from a couple of bad vampires. Due to a lot of miscommunication, Edward believes Bella has killed herself. He runs away to find a vampire royalty in Italy, who are capable of killing him. Bella and a friend try to make it to Italy before Edward kills himself... And that is just a glimpse of “New Moon”.
