Good things are happening at Robinson football. The varsity is 4-0. And the sub-varsity has won two in a row.
With outstanding play offensively and defensively, the JV team easily beat a personnel deficient and effort-deficient team against Hillsboro.
The Rockets were led by Cade Leuchner who scored twice. The defense played outstanding, holding the Eagles to little yardage and no points.
"We're clicking and getting better," said sophomore Micah Spicer. Other team mates agree. They have the winning streak. But more importantly, they have confidence.
The team plays again September 30 when Groesbeck comes to Rocket Field.
