The Invention of Lying is a movie about a world that doesn’t know what lying is. Meaning, everything they say is the truth. Even the concept of lying doesn’t exist in their world. But a man, Mark, who is very down on his luck, suddenly lies. Everyone thinks he is telling the truth when everything is a lie. He takes advantage of this newfound power. His lying brings him to fame and fortune. He goes from a raggedy apartment to a mansion just from saying g-d speaks to him telling him about the after life. But, that lie spreads quickly, and it finally got to people all around the world. He’s having no trouble whatsoever lying to everyone in the world...except for the one he truly loves. I personally, like scarier movies, but this movie was good. I asked friends. They said they liked it; I agree with them. The movie is humorous, witty and entertaining.
