The I.H.S. Senior class continued their dominance of Spirit Week 2008 on Wednesday by taking the leapfrog relay.
The class started out fast by gaining a big lead over the other three teams, but it was the Sophmore class that would give the seniors a run for their money.
The Sophmores took a slight lead at the halfway point when the Seniors ran into trouble.
"The biggest problem we had was that the boys were too fast for the girls," Senior Molly Barrone told The Tiger Transcript.
But the Seniors came into this year's leapfrog relay with a strategy.
"Our strategy was to have our faster people at the start and the end," says senior competitor Erin Vana.
And the strategy seemed to work for them as Senior Corey McAdams took the last leap to secure victory.
