Near a dark woods two cops are escorting a man to a high security prison. A train comes by on the tracks as they wait a truck crashes into the car. All survive the crash. The two police men in the front seat are badly injured, but are soon killed by the prisoner’s brother and girlfriend. They take all their money and escape into the night.
Meanwhile a nice family of ,used to be four before their son died a year ago, are going on vacation. Every summer they go to their summer house right next to the lake. Mary their daughter takes the car into the town to see her friend Paige. Paige works in a convince store. Mary was with Paige while she was working. A young man, Justin offers them some stuff in exchange for cigarettes so they go back to his motel. They are hanging out and Justin’s Dad, mother, and uncle come home. His dad comes home and he made the front page. Justin’s dad is wanted for murder. He is afraid Mary and Paige will rat him out to the cops. He takes Mary’s SUV. Mary misdirects them in the woods. So they will drive by her house. Once near her house she takes the cigarette lighter and burns the mother. She tries to push her out of the way so she can open the door. The car crashes in to a tree. Will they make it out alive?
Last House on the Left is a heart-stopping thriller. Gruesome, with a horrific twist. If you love horror movies this is the one for you.
