Summer school is a place that every student dreads to go. It’s their summer vacation, and they have to spend it in school. The reason that summer school exists in the first place is for students that slacked off and didn’t get the credits they needed for graduation while going through High School. It’s also a time where students that were really sick can make up the extra work for credit. An example would be Mono.

The courses that are offered in summer school are summer P.E. or gym, all academics, such as Math, English, History, Science, etc. most terms for summer school last for about two weeks, or until the credit is earned. The courses that you attend in summer school are determined by the school that you attend. Different schools sometimes have different courses that you have to take.

Most of the population that attends summer school say that they hate it. However, some believe it is worth while if it allows them to get the credit that they need. In the end you can either have a positive or a negative point of view on summer school. You can have the positive point of view Which is getting the credit that you need to graduate and have a successful career, or you can have the negative point of view that you hate it and you’re mad because you’re wasting away your summer being in school. You that attend will have to make that determination for yourself.
