Sophomores have made it through a semester of Geography with Mr. Bridges. They learned the locations of many places like the states and their capitals, the continents and their capitals, and major cities around the world. They also learn useful terms of knowledge when it comes to Geography. During first semesters sophomores learned how to teach their selves about the chapters studied.
During second quarter Mr. Bridges gave students a list of activities to choose from and do for the chapter. There was an A layer, B layer, and C layer. Sophomores had to complete one layer to move on to the next one. This helped students learn to be more independent and also allowed them to work at their own pace.
Can sophomores survive second semester in World History 1with Mr. Bridges. So far sophomores have learned about Ancient India, China, and Civilizations. They have learned about the religions, caste systems, and have also learned about Ancient Egypt. They have just finished that chapter and now are learning about the ancient Greeks.
Most sophomores thought Geography was easy to get through because they learned about all the states, locations and their capitals for a whole unit in eighth grade. Geography was also easy because you were given a map that you had all week to fill out then you had plenty of time to memorize where the places are located on the maps. Know sophomores are kind of wondering if World History 1 will be just as easy or if it will be harder.
