Sprinklers going off

In the fall of 2007 a 4th period Choir class was broken up in to sections for section practice Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass. The Soprano’s and Basses were in the Choir/ band practice rooms “practicing” their songs for the next concert. Sometimes we get bored and don’t want to wait around for 30 minutes for everyone else to finish and go back into the class room. So a couple of us started to wander and look inside the file cabinets that were stored in the same practice room as the sopranos were practicing in. Grace thought it would be funny to poke the sprinkler with a bar that Dylan found in one of the cabinets. After about 5minutes the choir room, gym and lunch room was completely flooded. People got suspended and expelled also were sent to Saturday school for classroom beautification.

In fall of 2008 Tahoma varsity football team had a home game against Kent Wood. The game was a quick easy win for Tahoma bears like usual. Kent wood wasn’t happy with the end results of loosing once again to the Bears, so they thought it would be a great idea to ignite a classroom chair on fire on our football field. Well that didn’t stop us. We just shrugged it off and we fixed our football field and now that childish prank is just a laughable memory.

In 2008 someone thought it would funny to graffiti Tahoma with outrageous words with aren’t allowed to be written in a school newspaper. Once everyone went home after a long day of learning, a few people thought it would be a good idea to graffiti and tag our school. Once people got to school the next day it was a shock to everyone’s eyes to see that we once again were victims of another vandal act. In my knowledge I’m not sure if it was someone from our school or from another school. But once again it just shows that nothing can bring down the Tahoma Bear Pride.
