Eagles Collide-Car Crashes at Dakota
While the crashes at Dakota are usually fender-benders, if you’re driving recklessly Deputy Lucero is ready to pull you over. - Anonymous

If you’re a driver at Dakota Ridge, watch out!

Deputy Lucero is ready to pull over all reckless drivers.  Many people don’t know that the school has specific consequences for students who speed or get in accidents on campus.  Alex, security guard, warns, “The school will issue anything from community service, tickets, and even revoking a license for overly reckless driving.”

The new traffic light, while very much appreciated by anyone trying to turn, contributed to an accident on the first day of school.  Before the county could even put a stoplight in, there had to be a certain amount of traffic along the street, as well as a certain amount of accidents there.  The school was unable to do anything about it.

Students’ perspectives have changed when it comes to car crashes.  Some students even brag about how many accidents or speeding tickets they've had and gotten out of without a scratch.  No accident is a good accident, only lucky.  Lucky to survive and be functioning, that is.  Drunk or not, safe driving isn't just a skill for you that makes driving a bit less interesting, it’s also something that keeps the people around you safe.  You never know if that person you accidentally crash into is your best friend.

So if you’re a driver, keep safe, drive carefully, and be aware!
