As students make Halloween plans filled with haunted houses and costume shopping, they indulge themselves in scary movies.

One popular scary movie that is attracting teens is the new suspense film, “House at the End of the Street.”

This movie follows the life of a newly divorced woman and her adventurous daughter, Elissa. When Elissa becomes involved with the suspicious brother of a family murder, she learns just how secretive a person can be.

Dakota Ridge students express their excitement for seeing the new haunted feature film.

Ones who have seen the movie have nothing but good feedback about it, while ones who have not seen it show nothing but anticipation for the movie.

“I think it will be a better version of “The Woman in Black”. I’m going with friends; it’s going to be awesome,” states Kenzie King (9).

Along with that, “The movie looks good, I’m going this week with my friends,” shares Brianna Harris (9).

Students like junior, Sylena Kontour, enjoyed and recommend the scary movie. “It was actually really good; not what I was expecting. I would see it again.”

Teenagers are thankful and excited for the new Halloween season, where they show off their creative costumes and spend their free time getting spooked.
