Actors and actresses acted out their parts from New York Magazine’s The Long Goodbye. The people they portrayed were actual people affected by the attacks.

Choir soloists for the night included: Graham Campbell and Karthik Soora singing Sting’s “Fragile”; Bonnie Frauenthal and Georgeanne Yehling performing “Pie Jesu”; Frauenthal’s solo, “The Windows of the World”; “Angel” sung by Maya Ellington and Isiah Tatum; and Giahna Glasco, Graham Campbell, and Isiah Tatum singing “Bridge Over Troubled Water” with the choir as a background.

The music bill included patriotic songs the band and orchestra performed, such as “For Those Who Have Gone Before”, “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, and “God Bless America.” Choir sang inspiring songs like “God Bless the USA” and “What A Wonderful World.”

The performance ended with a duet by Cordell Piggee and DeAngelo Gatlin playing Taps on trumpet. It was a somber, yet joyful moment for the audience to pay their respects to those lost on September 11.
