Well I know a lot of people at DaVinci Academy who write poems. A lot of people write poems because that's how they express there feelings. I think it is pretty awesome. I myself also write poems. I usually write about what happened in my life in the past. But other kids might write about funny things, sad things, or what I do, write about my feelings. I like reading poems because it helps me think about things or things that make mem laugh. I love writing poems and letting people read them so they know the real me. I hope other people do that too so people can know the real them and not just hide there self.

Even people that don't like poems might end up reading them and like them. Sometimes people write poems and you don't expect that they were that type of person but they truely are. A lot of people I know didn't expect that I wrote poems when i did. But my poems are old I haven't written then in like one in a few months. But the people who I let read them love them and I am going to publish a book of my poems. I hope other people will try and do that too because it would be awesome if people started letting other people read there poems, because I would love to read other peoples poems and I would like people to read mine and see what they think about them.
