OH-EM-GEE: The signs, causes of cheating are ... Embed This Article
What causes cheating? Do you notice when someone is cheating on you? What are the signs?
There are a lot of reasons why guys and girls cheat. Some possibilities are:
He/she may not be ready for a commitment yet.
He/she may be feeling scared or overwhelmed about the closeness that they’re feeling in the relationship… cheating could be a way to act out their feelings.
He/she may be looking for revenge if somebody has cheated on them.
He/she may have agreed to see someone officially, but they’re probably not ready for that kind of commitment. Most likely they want to date for a while only. So they may become torn between their commitment and wanting to be with others.
He/she may have parents who have had affairs; and so they follow the example in their relationships.
He/she may not see the relationship with any kind of importance, so the thought of staying committed to only the person they’re with is probably not one of their intentions.
If there are problems in the relationship, he/she may act out their feelings in some other way, like escaping from them through infidelity, instead of talking it out and dealing with those problems the right way.
He/she may simply be one of those not-so-nice people… those that don’t care very much about other people’s feelings and the pain that person can go through.
Whatever the reason may be, it still doesn’t make this behavior okay.
Okay so…do we actually notice when they’re cheating? Sometimes we do, but other times they can really know how to hide it.
So, you’ve got a someone who you think is being unfaithful to you…Well, first of all, NOT EVERYONE IS A CHEATER! So don’t accuse them just yet.
But you can never be so sure either. So to be on the safe side, here are some signs you should watch out for:
--You notice that he/she cancels plans almost all the time and/or calls you less frequently; he/she is starting to act distant.
--He/she is insensitive; as in they forget that you had plans and they don’t show any importance to it.
--He/she has stopped inviting you to spend time with them at their favorite places; like you find out that he/she went to a party without inviting you and they don’t mention anything about it.
--He/she finds ways to argue, and blames you for everything.
--You catch them in a lie and they deny it, they consider themselves the victim or they get offensive.
If cheating has crossed your mind, think twice about it. Especially if you are in a serious relationship with someone because you will only put them in pain, so if you plan to cheat, it’d be better to break it off first than to become known as a cheater.
YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU GOT ‘TIL IT’S GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
