Yes, I knew him for only a few weeks but I was convinced I would have a great time with him. We set up a date and picked a movie to watch. When he arrived at my house to pick me up my mother commented something about his appearance. I had never seen him before not even in pictures. He wasn’t attractive. Or, at least, he did not attract me. From the moment I sat in his beat-up SUV until we found our way into the movie theatre, I was extremely uncomfortable. I wanted so badly to leave. I messaged my best friend telling her how shallow I felt. Before the movie ended I excused myself to the bathroom but stayed in the hallway where I called my friend to tell him I couldn’t go to his performance after all. On my way back I decided to call him back. I barely knew my friend but I never hesitated to ask if he would come pick me up. When the end of the movie came we had talked about what a great moment it would be for the both of us I didn’t even look at him (my date). Upon arriving at the door I lied saying that my mom was coming for me. He said he would call but never did. – T.R

First off I would NEVER go on a date with someone I met online because you don’t know just how honest that person is really being with you. Don’t get me wrong I’ve met people online before, but I don’t know it’s just really isn’t a safe method at all.
