FREESKI OPEN
The Mount Snow
Freeski Open is one of the biggest ski events that take place on the East
Coast. Skiers will be coming from across the country to compete on March 20-21
for a cash purse of $7500. This year’s event will take place at Mount Snow's
INFERNO terrain park, allowing men and women to compete in both Slopestyle and
halfpipe. Although this is a major event occurring on the East Coast, it’s not
the only one to take place during the spring. The following weekend, the 2nd
annual Dumont Cup will also be held. Registration is now open for the 2010
Dumont Cup. The event will be held at Sunday River, Maine on March 26-27.
The main even that most people are going to want to watch is Slopestyle. This consist of both jumps and rails. The main idea is to get the highest score out of 100. Some of the new tricks your going to want to keep an eye out for are double flips, almost everyone today has one with there own style.
