By March, having suffered a cold winter, exams and classes everyday most students’ have one thing on their minds: Spring Break. After many hard weeks of school, everyone wants to go somewhere to relax and party. Panama City Beach, Daytona Beach, Cancun Mexico, and the Bahamas are the most popular Spring Break destinations.
Familes, and college student's book their flights and hotels ahead of time because the prices are so redicously high when the week's come closer to Spring Break, so in order to save some money, they book ahead, which is a pretty good idea. College student's are usually in debt because of tuition, student loans, and their books. They can get student packages for cheap if they book with friends and buy a hotel together, and that's what most College student's do. The prices of gas right now are at a high price, so most people save money by flying so they don't have to pay almost $4 dollar's a gallon. Spring Break for college students include, partying, doing thing's they never would, just because they won't get in trouble. Decadent behavior is the top thing. About 1.5 million college student's go somewhere for Spring Break, every year.
As kid's grow up, they get peer pressured, and that's a factor that parent's worry about when letting their teen's go on a vacation without them, they don't want them messing up their lives by doing something stupid, because of their friends. Sop. Whitney Reed states "I am going to Florida for spring break this year, with my family." Parent's worry too much about kid's, so they feel safer going on trips with the family as a whole.
