On Thursday, October 29, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Casa's drill and cheer teams participated in the Thing-A-Thon fundraiser to raise money for both teams. After school on Thursday, drill and cheer brought wheeled items of transportation that were not electrical to the center of Senior Square. At 2:00, the participants picked a mode of transportation, including scooters, skateboards, stilts, and mini bikes,  then lapped around Senior Square as many times as they could for a full hour. For each lap a drill or cheer member completed, money was earned from pledges. While participants rode the various items of transportation, Jamba Juice sold smoothies and cheer and drill parents sold bake sale goods to raise additional money.

"Thing-A-Thon was an exciting and interesting way to fundraise for cheer and drill," said Junior Bianca Crawfod. "I was happy to help raise money for the team."
