Rivercats calendar During the 2009 school year, Junior Ashley McLemore submitted a drawing for the 2010 Rivercats Baseball Calendar. In October 2009, she learned that her drawing will be featured in the calendar. - Ashley McLemore Friday, November 20, 2009 By Alec McKee Advertising After submitting Casa students' drawings to Rivercats owner Tony Asaro, Mrs. Judy Butler received an e-mail from Asaro in early October, informing her that students Sophomore Frankie Patalano, Junior Jamie French, Senior Clint Neice, Senior Colleen Cravens, Junior Ashley McLemore, Junior Amber Kashow, Sophomore Alexis Dye, and Sophomore Tom Burns were chosen to have their art featured in the 2010 Sacramento River Cats Baseball Calendar. The calender, featuring drawings created by elementary through high school students in the Sacramento area, will be published in December. In March, students whose art was selected and their families will attend a free Rivercats baseball game at Raley Field. After the game, the students' accomplishments will be announced on the field and students will also have the opportunity to receive autographs from the Rivercats players.   "My greatest hope is that the calender will bring the students' art to people's attention," said Butler. "I just want people to recognize the great talent that we have here at Casa."
