Hi there movie makers! It’s time for you to get the camera rolling as St. Tammany Parish prepares to hold their first Student Film Competition. The competition is open to all high school level students in the St. Tammany Parish. Film categories will include Action, Drama, Comedy, and Animation. There will be an entry fee of twenty dollars, and all films are due by April 1, 2011. Entries along with the release forms will be sent to P.O. Box 628, Covington, LA 70434. The films should be 3-15 minutes long and shot using a digital camera or smart phone. Winning entrees will be screened in a Red Carpet Event held April 15, 2011 at the Fuhrmann Auditorium in Covington. Prizes will be given to each winner of the four categories.
