Saving Jane’s music can relate to the Spicegirls in the effect that they both exude “girl-power,” that’s about as far as the relation goes because well the band consists of mostly guys and one girl (Dodson).
    Saving Jane has had a manic history in the short time it has existed, with various band members coming and going. Saving Jane came about when Marti Dodson and Pat Buzzard became friends, eventually coming to the conclusion that they could make beautiful music together. 
    Influences of the band are “boys who have made me cry in the past or will possibly make me cry in the future, general disdain for ‘industry’ types, lovely good friends that make me giggle, pretty girls, and Aerosmith.”
    Girl Next Door has been used on many hit TV shows, and Supergirl is used as the theme music for female Indy-Car racing star Danica Patrick.
    Their most recent album "SuperGirl" is pretty good. Whenever I listen to the Supergirl track, I can't help but be upbeat and feel like bouncing around, One Girl Revolution also brings that feeling.
    Grace is a softer song on the album which is rather good.
    I would recommend this CD to any girl/woman that needs strength, support and hope. I know that sounds cheesy, but very it's very uplifting and fun.
