Puss in Boots is definitely a children’s movie. It would have been more enjoyable if I were younger. There were some enjoyable parts, and all in all, it was an okay movie. It was a big hit, having sold out two weekends in a row, a large crowd of people were obviously excited about it. It really appealed to a younger crowd, but it also had a lot of adult humor.

Puss in Boots is a lot of children’s stories put together. It has "Jack and Jill," "Humpty Dumpty," "Jack and the Bean Stalk," and, of course, Puss is back from Shrek, a movie that was a big hit, as were the following movies. Puss and long lost brother, Humpty Dumpty, go on a quest for the magic beans as they try to clear his name. There is a lot of tension between the two pals from past adventures, but they resolve it with the help of Kitty Soft Paws.

They succeed in getting the magic beans, a childhood ambition, from Jack and Jill who aren’t as cute and cuddly as the childhood rhyme. With their hoard of boars, no one dares cross them. Puss, Humpty, and Kitty succeed with getting the beans, and travel up to the giants castle, which is devoid of a giant. There is, however, The Great Terror who protects the golden goose. They find the goose, steal it and get home safely. They quickly run into problems along the way, but sort them out. There is a very cliché, but happy ending.     This is a great children’s movie. It had all the kids in the theater sitting at the edge of their seats, waiting to see what will happen next. Unlike most children’s movies, it had a lot of unexpected twists. While in other movies you can easily tell what will happen next, this movie is very unique, but in a good way, and has a lot of plot twists. This comedy had a lot of great laughs, for both children and adults. A great movie to watch with siblings; it’s worth it just for their reactions. They will talk about it non-stop, with lots of laughs. And you will not be able to help but smile yourself.
