With the Christmas holidays approaching, this will be the last fantasy blog of the semester. Fortunately we plan on writing a blog about the playoffs and the super bowl, but here is our final advice for the regular season.
Recently unorthodox Broncos quarterback, Tim Tebow, has been attracting an incredible amount of media attention despite lack luster stats. This week his talents will be challenged as he faces offensive powerhouse New England—expect a shootout. Drew Brees has been performing at a record breaking pace, and will pick apart the Vikings secondary. After consecutive weeks of 20 plus numbers, Eli Manning is doing a good job of keeping “Manning” a household name. Although the Redskins defense has been stingy at times look for Manning to continue his success.
Chris Johnson has been inconsistent with fluctuating numbers from week to week, but any running back that is facing Indianapolis is a good choice for a lineup. Seattle running back Marshawn Lynch is the focal point of the Seattle offense and his fantasy numbers reflect the increased number of carries. Due to a depleted backfield for the Cowboys, Felix Jones should do well this week.
Controversy over the Falcons trading up to get Julio Jones is diminishing as he finally begins to connect with Matt Ryan. Doug Baldwin went off against the Rams and continues to impress. Green Bay tight end Jermichael Finley was only passed to once last week, but with the injury of Greg Jennings he will be targeted more often.
Thanks for tuning in every week, and we hope to see you back next semester for the playoff and super bowl blogs. Have a great break!
