The lip sync was finally revived after many years on Thursday May 20th in the KHS auditorium. It was a fundraiser hosted by the freshman class. Participation in the lip sync was open to all grade levels as long as music and dance moves were school appropriate.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the freshman class since it was their event, but they will be donating a portion to help local families in need.

“Reviving the lip sync is something we wanted to do for a couple of years now so when we suggested it to the class they thought it was a great idea,” said Kyriacou, one of the class of 2012 advisors.

“It was entertaining but I think it would have been better if there were more students from different grade levels. It was mostly underclassmen,” said Hannah Sterrs.

Most of the songs performed were modern and well known.

Dan Dittus won with a performance of Telephone by Lady Gaga (to see music video go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVBsypHzF3U) and a standing novation.
